i was watching a movie online...when my sound went distorted..it ...you can hear mess up sound. but no voices..it like my computer equalizer is all mess up.. i check my sound driver..it says it working. an i update it..still not working right..any one have any ideas to help me out??

I have shoulder length wavy hair *points to profile picture*. When its wet it's alright but it tends to get frizzy. I use leave in conditioner and that helps a bit. I recently stopped straightening it and was looking for products that will help tame it. I've tried scrunching my hair with different products but it doesn't stay very long. Need to know what to do for a movie date ;D?

So this coming saturday i'm going out with a guy to the movies. We've been talking for a good 2 weeks and this is the first time i'm gonna get to see him in person. First of all i have to explain this to you. We're both into the scene style, but he's more emo. He has long choppy black hair and just wears shredded jeans, a tight band tee, and a brim beanie. That type of guy. Since it's summer i'm going to stray off from my normal skinnies (because i'm pretty sure i'm gonna black out in those things) and wear something flowy. My plans are to wear a grey flannel top (the ones that tie in the back and come down half length of your arm) with a black undershirt (because i'm not gonna button it at all) and regular denim shorts. I wanted to wear some cute shoes but don't really have any so i guess i'll just wear black flip flops. Sound okay? My hair is gonna be the normal (because it's naturally curly so all i do is scrunch it for volume and straighten my choppy bangs) with a bow or something. But now for the makeup. I always argue with myself on this part. I thought about doing the normal doll eye with just black eyeliner and white eyeshadow but i don't know. Not so straight forward. You can't just go there and expect to become a citizen because you are 'British'. You have to live there for a few years, (it is much easier to become a citizen than say an American citizen) and find a job to sustain you. If you have Canadian ancestry, you could try that way other than that, a few years but not sure how many - probably less than 10yrs

My bearded dragon had a batch of eggs last night, and not knowing she was pregnant, she did not have a lay box so she layed them on the ground. I put them in vermiculite, and was careful not to turn them. they were already starting to scrunch when i found them, but most look a good color white. i held one up to a light, and you could see a red dot in the middle of the egg. the eggs (or atleast the one i touched) was very soft. is this normal? is there any chance they are fertile and will make it? So ive bern having some audio problems with my system. Ill be playing music and then one side of my speakers gets super quiet and sound only comes from the other side. So i turn my equalizer to play sound only from the side that isnt working and i hear nothing. So i turn the volume up louder till the sound begins to play but its super staticey and very distorted. On top of the volume having to be all the esy up to hear it. It alao switches sides, sometimes the right side will go quiet and distort and somtimes the left. I have been having some problems with my TV for some time now. I just bought a new Emerson 22 inch LCD HDTV and it's fine, but when im watching shows and movies, i have to turn it up to hear the voices well, but then the music is REALLY loud. I have comcast, so i don't know if it's the TV or comcast. Is there anything i can do to fix this? 96 Subaru Legacy timing belt change?

My 96 Legacy has 108,000 miles on it. I took it to the garage for maintenance, the mechanic recommended I replace the timing belt and water pump, not due to damage but due to mileage on the motor. He gave the quote and I agreed. Several hours later the manager called to say there was a, "problem" with my car, the harmonious pulley (?) came loose "somehow" causing damage to the sprocket. There were "scuffs" in the sprocket, both pieces needed replaced and I was lucky the belt had not slipped off and destroyed my motor. The sprocket is a dealer only part and he wouldn't know the price until the dealer opens in the morning but the equalizer or pulley thing costs $172. He said the labor on those parts will be free. The manager sounded very uncomfortable talking to me, stammering over words, unable to elaborate on just how this might have happened, quite unlike his usual demeanor. He did not tell me the damage was most likely present prior to them working on my car and they were unable to see it until they were actually working on the car. In fact, his only explanation was that this had just happened, "somehow" several times. I suspect some action on the part of his technician caused this damage. Can anyone explain to me exactly what he is talking about, and how this may have happened? Also, if the garage caused the damage what recourse do I have? Also, if they are not responsible why is he offering free labor? I live in Columbia, MD and the shop is also in the same city. Thanks.

I suggest that you curl it and pin it up on the back of your head, not the side. It would make it more elegant. Also add a few of them swirly round grips that have gems on in and arround the scrunched hair, also leave strands of hair at the sides at the front and lightly curl them, so they are more wavy than curled :) This would mean that your hair will also accent any dangly earrings you might wear! You'd look really nicee like that :)

Use a smoothing serum and when straightening hair especially thick hair it may take you longer but take much small sections of hair and glide flat iron take your time.

Well im going to a pool party. I have dried out thick frizzy puffy hair and i usually wear my hair up after shower. but chlorine is different. I have tried to put my hair up after the pool but chlorine makes my hair and hands stick so i cant really get my hair into a ponytail. i have the thickest hair EVER!!!! and scrunching used to be impossible for me. but now when i scrunch my hair it comes out amazingly curly. what i do is put some mousse on damp hair (60% dry) and scrunch it into my hair. then i scrunch my hair into a super messy bun. hairspray it and leave it for a while. in a half hour it will come out curly around the ends and middle of the hair. an hour or more it will come out curly all over the hair. i leave it over night nd the next day it looks incredible and completely natural. best of luck :)

I have just got a new desktop with windows 7 premium 64bit. When I run windows media player I cant get into the playback controls e.g. equalizer,wow controls etc. I was able to do this with no problems on my old compy, and I can do it on my laptop too. I have an Ion TTUSB 05XL turntable which supposedly allows you to convert cassettes as well as LPs. I can successfully convert my LPs to ITunes but I can't get the cassette section on my micro hi-fi to record as I can't hear the tune that's been recorded and the equaliser on EZ Vinyl Converter doesn't come alive when I play the cassette. I have an audio in line on the stereo and an audio in line on the turntable. I've tried connecting the audio in on the stereo to the microphone in line on my laptop. I've plugged the audio in line in to the turntable and into the laptop. I've also tried connecting the turntable and the stereo via the audio in line and not connecting to the laptop at all but nothing seems to work. I know I don't have to use the RCA plugs that come with the turntable. It's just a question of what goes where. Please help!

HP compaq mini sound problems.?

My HP compaq mini laptop has begun producing a sound akin to that of a fanbelt slipping on a car. The sound is produced either through onboard speakers or through headphones when these are connected. Although it's not an entertainment PC, it's a highly irritating issue, as I'm unable to listen to anything on the computer, including voice notes or skype conversations. Is this a universal problem with HP's, as I have noticed in online forum that many other laptop owners have had similar issues? I disabled the graphic equaliser in Windows Media Player, as instructed, but this made no difference whatsoever. Anybody had a posisitve experience and managed to resolve the issue? Or do I have to convince technical support that their troubleshooters are worse than useless?

I've damaged it horribly. My bangs are so damaged, they just break off. They are short now (right above my eyebrows). Sub getting power but no bass is coming out, no blown fuses, amp worked just the other day on diff stereo?

I installed a tablet in my car, got the 3.5mm running to the EQ input, and rcas running to the amp from the Sub output. The remote wire works and turns the equalizer on as well as the amp. The headphone jack on the tablet works cause I can listen to audio through headphones when plugged in and also through the charging dock that is also powering the tablet. The tablet charges when on the dock as well. If i run the 3.5mm directly from the tablet to the rcas on the amp, still get no sound. What can I do ?? Hair Scrunching Question!?

Don't brush it! It will turn it into a a sticky, frizzy/poofy mess and it will be hard to brush. I never brush my hair after I scrunch it until after I've washed it. I find that no matter how loose, if I put my hair in a ponytail overnight, it will leave a gross crease mark where the hair tie was, but you may be able to tie it back if you need to. I usually just kind of push my hair to one side of the pillow, away from my face and leave it down.

I just got the iphone and I love to work with the song mix, sometimes boosting the bass, other times upping the mid, ect. what I want is an app that lets me change up the mix, nothing too complicated, ideally just mid, treble, and bass, though if they get a little more complicated, its not too bad. Equalizer varies for different music. There is no one setting that satisfies all genres. You may also want to set your equalizer differently for each audio source. It will sound different through your computer speakers when it is set up to sound good for headphones, as an example. I mainly listen to rock and metal, so I cut the low frequencies down, scoop out the middle frequencies, and boost the treble. When listening through my computer speakers, I just use the "Small Speakers" preset, which boosts the low frequencies, and cuts the highs. If you're listening to pop music, bass goes down, mids come up, treble goes down. If you have the unfortunate experience of listening to rap, just turn everything down until you can't hear it anymore;)

Out of no where sometimes when i think of something it feels like it was a dream orlike ive been there in my last life coz it feels like a playback or something. It goes for a few seconds and after that this funny warm feeling burns my heart and travels all the way to the left side of my body, to the neck, to my hands, tummy n legs, basically everywhere. How to hook an equalizer in a car?

I have an alpine iva-d105 head-unit in my car and just got a power acoustik 7 band equalizer from a friend. The radio has a front out, rear out, and sub woofer out on it, and the equalizer only has one input. if i hook just the front 2 it all i get are m front speakers, same with rear etc... but i thought hooking the sub woofer out into it would make everything work, however it doesn't, no matter which way i hook it up all i get is 2 speakers working. Its a power acoustik equalizer with sub out front out and rear out. i have 3 pairs of 2ch inter-connects ran to my trunk, 4 got to my 4 channel amp and 2 go to my mono block amp. i hook all 6 into the equalizer outs, and then i can hook the front out coming from my radio to the input on the equalizer and i can only get 2 of 4 speakers working, the rear does the same thing and the sub woofer does the same thing 2, so i guess my question is how would i split my inter-connects so that i can get all four speakers working?

SUBWOOFER IS NOT LOUD?

Check the high-level input connections. If you mixed up the positive and negative connections on one of the two input channels, you'll end up with almost no output from the amp because the left and right signals will cancel each other out. Just to test, you can try reversing the connections on one pair of inputs (but not both); or just disconnect one input channel altogether and see if that affects the bass.

How do I get the best quality for my system?

Okay so I have a 96 Camaro. Not a big trunk. I have boss speakers in the front doors. Pioneer speakers in back. And Jensen speakers installed in my trunk. I wired those in series with my rear pioneer speakers. I have a 160 watt Jensen linear phase uv9 touch screen head unit. It honestly doesn't put that much power out. I get some distortion with my boss speakers although they are not blown or anything. And all my speakers sounded fine when I had my previous head unit. A 200 watt DUAL head unit. But for some reason my speakers do not sound as good. I wanna replace my boss and Jensen speakers with pioneers so I have pioneer all the way around. Will this help the clarity of the sound? I also wanna get a amp. Used for my Speakers ONLY. I'm not sure of the wattage tho.. And I'm not sure how to wire it in with the head unit. I figured I need an amp for my speakers due to the fact that my head unit doesn't put out much. Will an amp make sound better and clearer? ALSO.. Sorry bud, I gotta agree with Tyler a head unit wired correctly wont drain your battery, somewhere there is a glitch in the wiring, my guess is with the acc wire, plus lets just say for an example it IS the head unit, why not replace the head unit instead of adding an aux eq? Pre-gain, Post-gain, equalizer with Low Medium and High knobs and two flip things (one being Clean/Lead and the other being Modern Vintage) any pointers? How can I get my JVC Record player hooked up to the speakers?

I have an old JVC Record player. I have a receiver, an equalizer and the turntable along with two JVC Speakers. When I put the arm down on a record, I can hear the faint music. We've tried almost every combination of wires into both the receiver and the equalizer. We plugged the turn table into the receiver and the receiver into the wall. We put the wires into both speakers and then into the back of the receiver. The red and white wires were also plugged in. We can get the receiver on and the turntable and equalizer on but nothing plays through the speakers. We switched around the red and black sides on both and switched both cables. We also even used every single outlet for the wires into the back of the receiver, switched around and all. We switched the red and white cables as well. We had phono on, the AC outlets were also on. Can anyone help? Much appreciated.

When we use the built-in microphone on our laptop to record when we're not home, it records something that sounds like speech derived from electrical (or electronic?) impulses. It is speech in every detail, but you can't quite hear what is being said - the Mhz etc seem to be all over the place and there is no discernable reason for it to be there in the first place. They're all different sound frequencies. If you move them, you'll notice the music changing. The bass might get a bit louder or the top end becomes clearer. Each frequency represents a certain layer of sound, if that makes any sense.
