What's wrong with my music?

For some reason, when I started listening to my iPod, my music sounds different. It sounds like I'm listening to the radio or something like that. I don't know if it has something to do with my iPod or what. I checked the equalizer and it was the same. My music had always sounded good but now it sucks. The sound is all distorted and such. Please help me!
