How to scrunch thick hair?

i have the thickest hair EVER!!!! and scrunching used to be impossible for me. but now when i scrunch my hair it comes out amazingly curly. what i do is put some mousse on damp hair (60% dry) and scrunch it into my hair. then i scrunch my hair into a super messy bun. hairspray it and leave it for a while. in a half hour it will come out curly around the ends and middle of the hair. an hour or more it will come out curly all over the hair. i leave it over night nd the next day it looks incredible and completely natural. best of luck :)
