Droid x screen screwed up?

That is strange. A factory reset should have taken care of any problems, but since it didn't, you should call your cellphone provider and talk to their tech support to see if they have any tricks to get it working, or if your phone is still covered under warranty or service plan that will cover it's repair or replacement, see about getting it replaced.
