If I Do These Steps Will I Get Scrunched Hair....?

first wash your hair. towel dry and then get mousse. i prefer herbal essence for curly hair but use whatever you want. put mousse on wet hair and squeeze. hair will scrunch. once you have the front the way you want it flip your hair and do the underneath. dont be afraid of using too much mousse. load it up. once you have it covered mess it up a littlw bit. not too much. it just gives it a toussled look. you can then dry it if you want a lighter, drier look. or you can let it air dry. it will be heavier and still look wet.
